A 2008 R2 DC has the "Do Not Inherit" option greyed out when I try to create a scheduled backup job on a file share. However, if I do a run once backup it is not greyed out. I can select it and the job will work.
I am using a Qnap to backup on and I need the "Do Not Inherit" selected.
Server 2012 does NOT seem to have this issue.
Please help.
The scheduled backup seems to use a templateID. Could this be manually edited?
