Hello all,
I would like to know how system image is working , i mean by that , while its creating the image how it will be written to the external hard disk drive, what files were written by the OS in to EXTHDD to make it bootable , is that file are hidding can they be copied?
Now why i am asking that !!
I passed through this situation: I created a buremetal backup and the dest. location was to network shared folder, so when its created, i copied that file and past it to the external HDD then i restart the computer and i choose to boot from USB Dev. , but once i click that option it give me this error msg. BOOTMGR is missing.
So is that mean that when i copied the image file , that boot up files where not copied, or what happened exactly?
Another question, Can i boot my machine from network shared folder that contain the backup and how ?
Looking forward for your help.
Regards,
Lubna
