Hi Everyone,
I'm studying for a Network Manager in the IT, and we have exams this week. For the exam we need to set up a complete domain for a simulated company in just 1 week. But the funny thing is that we never used DFS, but they require it.
So our domain is very simple and as follows:
1 DC with DHCP & Exchange
2 File Server
2 Clients (just for testing)
The documentation that our teachers gave us said that they wanted us to make a data partition on the DC and "redirect" it through DFS namespace with the File Server. But isn't it a kind of unlogical? If we need to do it this way, does that mean I don't need to install File Server on that server? Can you guys give me some tips on how to do this?
Thanks in advance!
PS. Sorry for the bad English
