I did a loots of research before I post this article but none of them are so clear to me
I have the following in my environment:
all servers are running W2K12R2
I will use [wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:\\MyShare-include:C:,E:,F:,G: -allCritical -quiet] as a batch file to backup entire Hyper-V node to a remote share every night
I have decided to test the backups for that I have prepared an additional server I did install W2k12R2 on it and enabled hyper-v role and windows server backup feature and start restoring both Hyper-V01 and Hyper-V02 to it using restore individual VMs successfully then I reconfigured Virtual switches and networks but none of the DC's are replicating ! in both domains !
any idea or help on this ?
or somebody tell me Am I doing the backup and restoration wright ?
if not what is the best practice for backing up and restoring all my virtual machines ?
