Event ID 127 Error on Backups

I have a Windows 2012 server backing up with NovaBackup to a Buffalo NAS.

Every time a Backup goes off I get this error

Description:
The default transaction resource manager on volume Storage encountered a non-retryable error and could not start.  The data contains the error code.

Everything I find online is talking about windows server backup and checking the logs.  My backups all complete successfully just getting this error message.  Any thoughts?
