Unable to find an answer anywhere on Microsoft's website or by calling sales. Hope someone here can help. I have a client who has no need to be on an Active Directory but does need client machines to be backed-up. Currently we are using an HP Datavault running Windows Home Server v1 which is based on Server 2003(now end of life). Wanting to replace it with a Western Digital DX4200 running Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Workgroup. The question I have is: Does this version have the Microsoft centralized client backup built into it like Essentials does?
