Reopen backup drive on another server

hi,

I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 and I use the Windows Server Backup Tool for my backups. The backups are stored on a QNAS NAS iSCSI LUN. The backups were performed daily and so I have a huge number of versions on that drive (i.e. as far as I know, the versions are stored in the volume shadow copies). I'd like to mount this drive on another Win 2k8 R2 server and still be able to access all the previous versions.

My questions are:

- in general, is this possible?

- what steps do I have to perform the also "mount" the shadow copies when mounting the iSCSI target.

best regards,

thomas
