Hi to all,
When I try to use wbadmin to backup something (system state or folders) on my windows 2008 r2 server the following error message appears in the Event Viewer:
"The backup operation that started at '2011-11-25T15:02:58.627000000Z' has failed because the Volume Shadow Copy Service operation to create a shadow copy of the volumes being backed up failed with following error code '2147943484'. Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved"
the wbadmin gui shows the following infomation: " vss copy backup - status failed. This service cannot be started in safe mode.
obviously the server is not in safe mode and the command 'vssadmin list writers' don't shows errors and every writer is stable and without error.
I 've already tried to remove and reinstall the backup features without success.
Any ideas?
