System State Backup to Critical Volume

Hello,

I have a recently deployed Server 2012 Domain Controller that I'm trying to back up the System State on. The AD DIT is located on the D: drive and I'm targeting the D: Drive for the System State Backup. Of course I got the message " You cannot use a volume that is included in the backup as a storage location"

However, I've created the AllowSSBToAnyVolume registry entry and restarted, but I'm still not able to get a SystemStateBackup (same error).

Any thoughts?

Geoff
