Questions about Active Directory Authoritative Restore

Hi,

Let's assume I have a single DC environment (Windows Server 2012 R2). Assuming this, I have the following questions about restoration with Windows Server Backup:

• If I select the option “Perform an authoritative restore of Active Directory files”, what will be the result of it? Will this mark all, every single object of this Active Directory as “authoritative”?

• What if I perform a non-authoritative restore (default action) to restore deleted user accounts in a single Active Directory environment (only one DC, no replicate)? Do I still need to mark them as authoritative (as a best practice maybe)?
