Does System State Backup support incremental backup in Wİndows Server 2008 R2

Hi Gurus,

on the following technet link Microsoft mentions that a System State Backup does not have an incremental support. An this article applies to 2008 R2 too.

Below, a Microsoft employee on technet blogs mentions that 2008 R2 system state backups are incremental.

New in Windows Server 2008 R2 system state backups are incremental and use VSS shadow copies for creating different versions of the backup.

I would really appreciate if a an MSFT can tell me which one is correct.
