This started a month ago when I noticed my backups started failing. Turns out the System and Hyper-V vss writers were missing. Had to reboot to bring them back. One month later, same issue.
I can also state there are a number of services that Terminate unexpectedly before these events happen. Afterwards I can't run backups
because of the missing writers.
They are:
Connected Devices Platform
COM+ Event System
Windows Font Cache
Network List
Network Store Interface
Windows Time
WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery
They all appear to restart ok automatically but backups won't run.
