So bit of a weird one.
Ive been using Windows Server backup for a long while now on various clients with various levels of success.
Some work perfectly while others seem to break every second day.
This particular problem is in regards to one server that seems to lose connection with the backup destination drive (USB external 4TB) the moment before the backup is scheduled to start. I have the event logs as follows;
A new volume was detected that is not in the list of volumes to include in the backup. Please add it to the schedule backup configuration if you want to protect this volume.
The backup operation that started at '1601-01-01T00:00:00.000000000Z' has failed because no backup storage location could be found. Please confirm that the backup storage location is attached and online, and then rerun the backup operation.
The backup operation attempted at '2018-07-18T23:00:21.006897600Z' has failed to start, error code '2155348061' (Windows Backup cannot find any of the backup storage locations.). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.
A lot of people recommend re-installing WSB and commandline tools
Any advice?
