Good morning,
I have a host on Hyper-V on Windows 2016 STD with different vm with Windows 2016 STD. Of one of these (all of generation 2), it is neither possible to backup with Windows Server Backup with the machine turned on nor to create snapshots from the Hyper-V console.
The virtual machine in question contains an SQL database that I can not reinstall as it is in production.
The virtual machine has been completely restored from a backup.
I have done several tests:
1- backup with WBS from inside the machine and it works
2- backup from the host: it does not work only on that VM.
3- snapshot: the percentage reaches 9% and then fails to continue and merge and retry the error "Checkpoint operation failed. 'Name-server' could not initiate at checkpoint operation.
4- logs report as below.
Thanks for the answers
