On one of my servers running Server 2008 R2...when I list the VSS writers the ASR Writer is in a failed state saying it "Timed out". It's a critical mail server and it's causing my backups to fail. The only support documents I've found for this
problem say to not re-register the VSS components on Server 2008. How do I go about fixing this problem on Server 2008 R2? Thanks in advance.
