Windows Server Backup Fails - "The system cannot find the file specified" after deleting orphaned VirtualMachine files

Hey!

I have a problem with Server 2008 SP2.

A couple of days ago i deleted old orphaned Virtual Machine folders. Before i was able to do that, i had to release those, by deleting symliks? from "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Hyper-V\Virtual Machines".

After that, i am having a error with Windows Server backup: "The system cannot find the file specified"

Also, if i want to restore, then the "Applications" choice is gryed out, so i cant restore i virtual machine and even Fullbackup shows of transferred data 53GB of 100GB, but it isnt backing up the volume, where other virtual machines are!

What should i do?

I tried stopping backup and scheduling it again - it didnt help.

I found out, that i have a RecycleBin folder on the VM drive - should i erase that?

I also tried looking the GUID of orpahend VM from registry and found entrys - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\DeviceClasses\{881aa40e-xxxx}##?#Root#VID#0000#{881aa40e-xxxx}

The same entrys are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
