We are using HP Data Protector to backup our exchange databases and physical servers. Jobs run for a brief period and fail with the following error
Cannot write to device ([1359] An internal error occurred. )
We are writing to an external steelstore device via CIFS shares. I've been working with both HP and the storage vendor for some time and they both indicate the issue doesn't appear on their end. HP believes this to be a communication issue with the operating system.
Backup Software: HP Data Protector 9.2
OS: Windows Server 2012 Std R2 fully patched
Steelstore by NetApp
search of the net hasn't returned any information on this error. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
