I have a Windows Server 2016 Core hyper-V cluster with 3 Nodes, and a Windows Server 2016 GUI Mgmt Server.
I can mange all roles of each nodes with the mgmt Server without any problem except the Windows Server Backup. If I want to run from the MGMT Server the "Backup schedule" or "Backup now" assistant on a cluster node I get the error "The parameter is incorrect".
I do it like this:
1. MMC on MGMT Server
2. Add/Remove Snapin
3. Select Windows Server Backup
4. Choose the option "An other computer" and put the name of a cluster node.
5. Right click on "Local Backup" and "Backup schedule"
The crazy thing is if I stop the "Cluster service" on the target node, the "Backup schedule" assistant runs without any error.
Has anybody any idea?
